I don't know the answers to your questions, but some resources that might be of assistance are:

National Lead Information Clearinghouse
Ph: 800.424.LEAD
US Dept of Housing and Urban Dev't, Washington, D.C.
Information specialists will provide over-the-phone technical assistance, and may be able to point you in the right direction.

Children's Environmental Health Network, Emeryville, CA
Ph: 510.450.3818
Email: [log in to unmask] Web: www.cehn.org
This organization prints a VERY comprehensive resource guide on children's environmental health. Their focus is education, research, and policy.

Good luck
Leona

Hi folks!

Does anyone have any useful information on prophylactic nutrition to
protect children from lead or other environmental contaminants?

Is there anything useful they can generally eat AFTER being contaminated and
experiencing an elevated BLL?

Much appreciated ...

.... and if cross posted, I apologize ...

Richard
