Each year the Self-Help Resource Centre offers this FREE educational
opportunity
to Professionals who wish to learn about the methodology of self-help and
mutual aid as it relates to their work.
The morning will include a panel of professionals representing different
aspects of Self-Help and Mutual Aid., followed by workshops in the
afternoon.
Topics will include:
-Usefulness & Practicality of self-help/mutual aid
-Partnership in the healing process
-Shared leadership
-Empowering your clients: Transitioning from support to self-help
-Self-care and self-help
