hi gordon:
the federally funded prevention dividend project website (www.prevention-
dividend.com) is an online source for costing and economic evaluation of
prevention programs in canada and internationally. we are currently updating
the site (adding a search engine, etc) and are in the midst of adding a
significant number of new and/or recently published articles. while the perry
preschool project is the one most often quoted study, there are an increasing
number of studies (some more recent) that also incorporate questions of cost
efficiency, cost offset analysis and/or economic cost/benefits into their
findings.
for more info, visit our website, or contact project director graham clyne at:

we are always looking for references to studies (ongoing and/or published) of
prevention programs that have looked at the question of costing and economic
evaluation, and/or tools or interesting resources to include on our site. the
updating of the site is ongoing and we expect to have a number of new additions
to the site by the end of the month.
thanks.
