The university has contracted with Telus Corporation as the single
vendor who will provide a wide range of telecommunication services to
York. The first phase of implementation in switching over the
university's telephone lines to Telus took place in December 2001.
Phase II will begin Friday May 17, 2002 at 6:00 PM.

There may be some disruption to telephone service for calls
placed into and out of the University between 6:00 PM and
midnight. Internal extension to extension calling will not be
affected.
