Subject: Survey on service utilisation among the elderly in the
community
Hi
I am a MPH student and looking for any information on tools used in
service
utilisation among the elderly in the community setting. A few months
ago,
we did a pre-survey on the health needs on a group of elderly residents
in
the community. For follow up intervention, those needing medical
attention
were given referral letters to a nearby primary health clinic.
We were thinking of going back to the same community to do a post
intervention survey on whether the services recommended to them were
being
visited/utilised. If not, then why?
Wonder if there is already some literature or set of tools which I could
use
to draw up my post survey forms
Thanks
Molly
