On Saturday, October 26th and Sunday, October 27th, a conference on international health, exploring "Alternative Perpectives in Communicable Disease" will be held at the University of Ottawa and the Crowne Plaza Ottawa, hosted by the Student University Network for Social and International Health (SUNSIH).

The conference will address the interdependencies of disease and society with a variety of viewpoints on how to address it´s various facets: raising awareness through art, educational campaigns, control with vaccination initiatives, shaping behaviour change, and applying human rights theory to action. This conference should be of interest to students (and professionals!) in each and every health discipline, public health, international law, and the social sciences.

See http://www.csih.org/Sunsih/SUNSIHConference2002.html for registration information

See below for the official Programme!
