Sunday Nov. 17:
Bell Canada has announced an emergency switch
software upgrade scheduled for Sunday November 17, 2002, between
00:00-06:00hrs. During this period Bell expects that customers will
experience several brief service interruptions of approx. 10-15
minutes each.
The following York network services may be impacted by these Bell
service interruptions:
York Internet & CA*Net Access
WAN Links to Glendon College, SSB - Nadel Centre, and Osgoode PDC.
Wednesday Nov. 20:
ONet (York's ISP) has announced that maintenance
work on one of the main Internet feeds will taking place on
Wednesday, 20-Nov-2002, between 04:00-06:00. This work will
likely result in a general slowdown in Internet access for York
users.
