Please see below . Clarica's funding is aimed at reducing children's social
exclusion.  Applications are now being taken.  The deadline is February 15,
2003.

Please use your networks to distribute this information.
Clarica is a financial company that funds children programs designed
towards
social inclusion.  They are currently taking applications (online ones
only).
The deadline is February 15, 2003.

Here's a bit of background:

"All children should have the chance to participate in their communities.
They need
access to the opportunities around them for education, sports and
recreation,
the
arts, technology, healthy living and relationship-building. But many are
excluded
through socio-economic conditions, special needs and other factors. That's
why our
advisory panel recommended that Clarica focus on promoting equal access to
developmental opportunities for all children.

2002 grants total approximately $1.36 million."
