Interesting discussion about how to engage in debate - I see it like this, my responses are within my control, otherwise I am in knee jerk mode. My response to provocation tells me nothing about the person provoking me but it tells me a lot about me and where I am and what I need to work on. A wise but somewhat hackneyed adage -If I have one finger pointing at someone (e.g. Dr Raphael) there are three more pointing back at me!

Question - what are the determinants of health promotion and health promoters? Seems to me this is rarely considered in these discussions and by not discussing those are we not taking a downstream approach to the practice of health promotion?
