You might also want to check out the website of the Manitoba Summer
Institute on Population Health Promotion.  This institute has, for the past
4 years, provided a skill-building four-day training opportunity for both
professionals and nonprofessionals from a range of sectors influencing
population health.  Community development and capacity building has been a
major focus consistently.
