Annual Meeting & Exposition Update

APHA staff has been working collaboratively with the New Orleans Convention
& Visitors Bureau (CVB) over the last several days to determine the
feasibility of continuing to hold the APHA Annual Meeting & Exposition in
the city. The New Orleans CVB notified APHA on Thursday afternoon, Sept. 1,
that all meetings and conventions currently scheduled for New Orleans
through the end of November can no longer be hosted by the city and
alternative arrangements must be made. APHA is currently having discussions
with several cities with regard to the relocation of the APHA Annual Meeting
& Exposition. We appreciate everyone's continued understanding and support
and hope to reach a final decision in the next week or so the meeting.
Please continue to refer to www.apha.org/meetings
