Overview
The successful candidate for this position will participate in the
data analysis phase of an innovative qualitative research study
conducted with disabled children to determine the accessibility of
their homes, schools and neighbourhoods.Key

Responsibilities
o Assist in the analysis, management and entry of data (maps,
interview transcriptions, photographs)
o Work with the PI, Co-Is and RAs s to develop data analysis
strategies
o Complete literature reviews of relevant topicso Draft manuscripts
for publication and presentation

Qualificationso
Masters Degree (Health or Social Sciences), or Bachelor’s Degree
(B.A./B.Sc.) with at least 3 years of relevant research experience

o Advanced computer skills with knowledge and dexterity in Microsoft
Office & NVivo (or other qualitative data analysis software)
o Technically competent with desktop hardware, telephone and video
conferencing, digital cameras, BlackBerry, and audio-recording
devices.
o Excellent interpersonal skillso Excellent organization, time
management and priority setting skills
o Excellent qualitative data
analysis skills
o Excellent library and bibliographic skills
o Excellent manuscript preparation skills
o Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
o Ability to function as part of a multidisciplinary team
o Ability to problem solve creatively
o Ability to pay meticulous attention to detail
o Publication record a valuable asset
