HON is an organization based in Switzerland with the goal of providing a means for health care web sites to depict credibility. Once your site meets approval with HON list's of criteria a graphic image is place on your site. This graphic can be clicked on taking the user to HON acknowledging legitimate approval. HON does not evaluate the interface or any other usability issues. In my opinion a more thorough (and relevant) list of criteria can be found at the CHN: http://www.canadian-health-network.ca/servlet/ContentServer?cid=1042668269524&pagename=CHN-RCS/Page/ShellCHNResourcePageTemplate&c=Page&lang=En Laura At 11:01 AM 19/08/03 -0400, you wrote: >Don't know of any evaluators, but check with "health on the net" foundation >re: peer review. > >http://www.hon.ch/Global/HON_mission.html _ Laura O'Grady Ph.D. Candidate CTL / Computer Applications OISE / University of Toronto Toronto, ON, Canada http://fcis.oise.utoronto.ca/~logrady/ [log in to unmask] [log in to unmask] _ To unsubscribe send one line: unsubscribe click4hp to: [log in to unmask] .
