Would you please post this on CANCHID. Many Thanks.
The School of Nursing at the University of Ottawa has been
notified that our application for a youth internship award
has been granted by the Canadian Society for International Health (CSIH).
With the assistance of CSIH we are looking for a baccalaureate or masters`
prepared nurse to fill this position in early November, 1997. The focus
of the internship is to
help us develop a model program of research, education and clinical practice
in gerontology and palliative care in Tianjin, China. We anticipate that
the intern will spend approximately 2 months in Canada followed by 6
months residence in Tianjin, China. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese would be
an
asset but is not a requirement.
If you know of a recent graduate (preferably 30 years of age or younger) who
is interested in this internship, please ask the individual to
contact either Dr.
Nancy Edwards (School
of Nursing, University of Ottawa - 613-562-5800 ext 8395 or
contact CSIH at 241-5785, ext. 327.
