Greetings and apologies for any cross-postings!

YouthLens, published by Family Health International as part of its YouthNet
program, is a series of research briefs that summarize the latest
information on key issues regarding reproductive health and HIV prevention
among youth ages 10 to 24. YouthNet is pleased to announce that four new
YouthLens are now available:

Youth-Adult Partnerships Show Promise
(http://www.fhi.org/en/youth/youthnet/pubs/pubspdf/ylenspartnerships.pdf
<http://www.fhi.org/en/youth/youthnet/pubs/pubspdf/ylenspartnerships.pdf> ).
Anecdotal evidence suggests that youth involvement can go beyond program
interventions to include collaborations with adults in policy, management,
and evaluation areas as well.

Condoms and Sexually Active Youth
(http://www.fhi.org/en/youth/youthnet/pubs/pubspdf/ylenscondoms.pdf
<http://www.fhi.org/en/youth/youthnet/pubs/pubspdf/ylenscondoms.pdf> ).
Condom use among sexually active youth varies widely, due to issues
including risk perception, social support, gender, and knowledge gaps.

Participatory Learning and Action
(http://www.fhi.org/en/youth/youthnet/pubs/pubspdf/ylenspartlearnactn.pdf
<http://www.fhi.org/en/youth/youthnet/pubs/pubspdf/ylenspartlearnactn.pdf>
). The Ethiopian Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Culture used a youth-based
participatory process to develop an HIV/AIDS and sexual health component in
its new program, resulting in a mobilized coalition of young people
committed to the health and future of their country.

Multisectoral Programs Link Intervention Efforts
(http://www.fhi.org/en/youth/youthnet/pubs/pubspdf/ylensintefrts.pdf
<http://www.fhi.org/en/youth/youthnet/pubs/pubspdf/ylensintefrts.pdf> ). In
Haiti, a coordinated effort addresses health, agriculture, education, and
income generation needs of young people through a single project.
