The Canadian Housing and Renewal Association (CHRA) announces its upcoming
National Symposium on Health and Housing: A Call to Action

The important links between the issues of health and housing are seen as an
integral part of the Urban Agenda.  This two-day symposium will focus on
examining
national issues surrounding health and housing, facilitate dialogue between
the key
decision makers in the health and housing fields, shape related policies
and
formulate an action plan.

Most important, this session will provide opportunities for the two sectors
to partner more closely to address joint issues.

The symposium takes place October 3-4 2003 at The Palliser Hotel in
Calgary, Alberta.

Guests include The Honourable Stan Woloshyn, Alberta Minister of Community
Development and The Honourable Steven Mahoney, Minister Responsible for
Selected Crown
Corporations and Minister Responsible for CMHC.
