Subject: [CLICK4HP] FW: Promoting Social Inclusion in Health - European
Practices

The following notice was received from the 'E-Watch on Innovation in
Health Services' produced by Knowledge Utilization / Utilisation
Connaisances [KUUC] at Laval University in Quebec.
http://kuuc.chair.ulaval.ca/english/master.php?url=bulletin.php

Note that the link goes to a *large* PDF, which could be a problem for
people with a slow connection and/or paying for downloading time and
storage. It is a very interesting publication worth reading. Consider
the difference between 'best practices' in North America, and 'good
practices' in Europe, and how 'social inclusion' and 'health
inequalities' may also differ.

[link through goes to a 142 page PDF 2.6 MB sized file located at:

Good%20Practices.pdf]

This publication by EuroHealthNet presents an overview of evidence
gathered from 52 good practices that reveal how the health sector can
foster social inclusion. The 52 good practices in this publication all
demonstrate how the health care, public health and health promotion
sectors are contributing to social inclusion.
