THE EVOLUTION OF HEALTH POLICY: INFLUENCES, INTERPRETATIONS, AND
IMPLICATIONS
The UNC-Chapel Hill School of Public Health is proud to announce its 25th
Annual Minority Health Conference, Friday, February 28, 2003. The 5th
Annual William T. Small, Jr. Keynote Lecture will be delivered by Camara
P. Jones, M.D., M.P.H., Ph.D., Research Director on Social Determinants of
Health, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Dr. Jones' lecture, on "Confronting Institutionalized Racism", will be
broadcast via satellite (from Chapel Hill) and Internet (courtesy of
Kaisernetwork.org) at 2:00 pm EST, after which Dr. Jones will respond to
(toll-free) questions and comments from the satellite and Internet
audience until 3:30 pm (UNC does not charge for downlink).

Statistics Research (www.sph.unc.edu/chsr) (CDC National Center for Health
Statistics, contract No. UR6/CCU417428-04) and the Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention, National Center for HIV, STD, and TB Prevention
through a cooperative agreement with the Association of Schools of Public
Health. Internet dissemination will be provided by Kaisernetwork.org
