The Ontario Family Health Network (OFHN) is a key instrument for promoting
primary care reform in Ontario.

A Primary Care IT Strategy is being implemented to assist primary care
physicians with the adoption and implementation of IT in their practices.

The ePhysician Project (ePP), a joint initiative sponsored by the Ministry
of Health and Long-Term Care, the Ontario Medical Association and the
OFHN, is responsible for implementing the Primary Care IT Strategy.

One component of the Primary Care IT Strategy is the procurement of
Clinical Management Systems (CMS). ePP is taking a two part approach to
the procurement of CMS solutions - local solutions and Application Service
Provider (ASP) solutions. In August 2002, the project released a Request
for Proposal (RFP) for ASP vendors and responses are now being evaluated.
The project is now proceeding with the procurement of local solutions.

TThe purpose of this session is to introduce Clinical Management System
vendors to ePP's CMS Local Solutions Initiative and to engage vendors in a
discussion. The presentations will cover:

CMS Local Solution Initiative Overview

Communicating with Vendors
