Building on the success of our October '06 day training

 intensive, IntegratingThe Creative Arts in Healthcare, CCAHTE, 

Canadian Creative Arts in Health, Training and Education will be

Day Intensive #1 (Introductory)

Saturday March 24, 2007, Windermere Manor, London, Ont.

Integrating the Creative Arts in Healthcare,

 Drama, Collage, Narrative/Story  and Performance

Designed to introduce basic creative arts and expressive methods 

which can be incorporated into the healthcare setting.

(For professionals in healthcare, social workers, counsellors, 

therapists, nurses and nurse educators, chaplains, professionals working

 in gerontology/palliative care/cancer support)

(max. 16 participants only)

 

Day Intensive #2

Saturday March 31, 2007, Windermere Manor, London

"Remembering the Caregivers' Story"

Especially for professional caregivers, nurses, professionals

 in gerontology, palliative care, chaplains, bereavement counsellors, 

professionals in critical care, oncology, social workers, educators 

(max. 16 participants only)

 

"Remembering  the Caregivers Story"  is a day session 

which will focus on the story of the professional caregiver.  

Using expressive methods such as narrative, poetry and drama, 

participants will be guided through a supportive and regenerative

 group process which will help professional caregivers  

access and actively express their own stories.
