Hi, Dennis. I think the parallel you are seeking is: The Globe and Mail,
financed by its advertisers and subscribers and owned by major media and
telecommunications interests.
More to the point, the York readership can be expected to have some idea of
what the Globe is, versus StraightGoods, which few of us had heard of
previously. The sponsorship reference was a point of information.
And if a piece of yours shows up on Preston Manning's Web site, we'll be
sure to note his background as well!
