Oh I ECHO Greta. I hear ya loud and clear. To add to your sentence,
yes - it is not just how we choose to live at this time, cardiac health
is intergenerational. For sure.

Hi all,
I agree with Chad regarding the 'joke' I sent. I do not believe
cardiac health is related to the language one speaks. Rather (for the
middle class) I have felt it is about 'Lifestyle" issues such as:
running all the time at work, always trying to put in more hours in a
day, doing work that is very unsatisfying, ...to earn more money, .....
which we will end up spending on illness care, etc. In my intellectual
moments, I advocate for community organic gardens, the slow food
movement, the meditarranean diet, siestas in the middle of the day, and
red wine every day. Obviously such luxury is definitely not available
to low income citizens. But if we chose to, we could make it happen
for all. It's just not how we choose to live at this time. Cheers!!
Greta
