Well, than may be this personal coach program is not as innovative approach as we think, perhaps a recycled idea. "People need attention, support and encouragement to be healthy, dare I say it, they need love". Going back to the basics?

Interesting point of view.

I've recently reviewed literature suggesting that 'motivational
interviewing' as dental health education has impacts on health outcomes.

One would think that 'a navigator' in such a complicated health
experience as cancer care would be a good thing, especially with the
opportunities for promoting health in such an experience (i.e.,
tobacco cessation, nutrition).

Yet as with the WCB example, there is a fine-line between managing
sickness and managing a life.

In the end though, what does this tell us really? I say it tells us
that people need attention, support, and encouragement to be healthy,
dare I say it, they need love.
