I am looking for a comparision of the Federal Provincial Housing
Agreements. In Ontario the Federal government putting upto $25,000 per
unit into a project. The Ontario Government putting in $2,000 in the
from of provincial sales tax rebate. Only 25% of the housing projects
are allowed to built by the non-profit sector/municipal. After 15
(possiblily 20) years the privately built housing no longer needs to be
available
for affordable housing; in fact the private landlord can sell that
publicly paid for housing.
What is happening in other provinces.
