You might want to take a look at Web Savvy (found at
http://websavvy-access.org/index.php). A list of their services, including
usability assessments can be found at
http://websavvy-access.org/services/index.php. This organization
specializes in ensuring sites are accessible to those using assistive
devices and also in applications used online designed to support learning.
>I'm looking for a company / person who evaluates websites for usablity,
>design, format, etc. Would anyone on this list be able to recommend an
>individual / organization? Ideally, this person would also have some
>experience with user groups attached to public health.
