Announces Upcoming Fall 2008 Issue

 

Call for Papers for Issue #7, October 08  

 

 "The Creative Response"

 

Seeking papers, 5,000-6,500 wds. (shorter papers will also be considered.)

 

Due date:  August 30, 2008.

 

·          Selected research papers will be peer reviewed

 

·          We will be seeking sponsorship for the October 08 issue

Especially interested in research papers related to the creative arts in action and practice

 with particular emphasis on creative arts in healthcare, palliative care, hospice, cancer.

 

This issue will explore "The Creative Response" with a special feature

on topics related to death, grief and bereavement, as well as stories about applications 

of creative arts in training for health professionals and caregivers.

 

CCAHTE Publishing Plans, New Book Project Underway

Plans are currently underway to publish a new book titled 

"Creative Responses in Death and Bereavement"

which will be an educational text directed at healthcare 

professionals.  Papers accepted for publication in the upcoming fall  

CCAHTE Journal issue may also be considered for publication in

the upcoming book.  Other content will include stories and illustrations

 of the work in action and practice contributed by leaders in the field.
