CBR201 Building Effective Community-Based Research Partnerships
This very popular and interactive workshop is designed as a continuation of
CBR101 and builds on the essential concepts of community-based research
(CBR). Increasingly, we are understanding that partnerships are
invaluable
to effective community-based research projects and other health
programming.
This workshop's main focus is the planning, implementation and maintenance
of resilient CBR partnerships.
Participants Will Learn:
? strategies for partnership development and monitoring during the duration
of a CBR project.
? sensitivity to community concerns, ethical and privacy issues in CBR.
? how to implement the actions from CBR projects.
Who Should Attend:
? researchers interested in partnership research initiatives.
? front line practitioners.
? community members.
