(WSIS):  Youth in Namibia are using ICTs to fight HIV/AIDS. A rural IT
program in India has transformed local communities. One World Radio
connects developing-country broadcasters around the world.  Canada's

McGill summer courses: McGill University’s Separtment of Epidemiology,
Biostatistics and Occupational Health is offering summers sessions in

The Third National Conference on Health Care Regionalization in Canada:
The conference is set to take place from March 12 to 14, 2004 at the
Renaissance Hotel Harbourside, Vancouver, BC.  For more information,

The Canadian Public Health Association receives funding for global
immunization:  CPHA has received renewed funding from the Canadian
International Development Agency to support global immunization efforts.
The Canadian International Immunization Initiative aims to improve the
health of people and strengthen the Primary Health Care systems of
selected developing countries. CPHA is seeking an Ottawa-based Project

The Canadian Public Health Association call for applications for a
Project Officer:  The Canadian Public Health Association (CPHA) has
received renewed funding from the Canadian International Development
Agency (CIDA) to support global immunization efforts.  The Canadian
International Immunization Initiative, Phase 2 (CIII-2) aims to improve
the health of people and strengthen the Primary Health Care (PHC)
systems of selected developing countries by investing in disease
prevention and childhood immunization programs, and by promoting
equitable access to essential PHC services.  To help accomplish our
goal, CPHA is looking for a Project Officer based in Ottawa.
Competition closing date for this position has been extended to January
