   Yes, Hannibal is still there, thanks to the fact that they
built a good new levee within the last year or so.  I was there
in 1990 on my way out to New York, and the one thing that I liked
the most was the cave, which is a mile or so south of town.  On
the way back from that, you might keep an eye out for a scenic
lookout over the river.  When I drove up, the steamboat was just
leaving, and it was quite a sight.
   A few days might be too much, however.  Everything but the
cave is found in a small area of downtown, and I just didn't see
much more than a day's worth there.
