This is a guest column in today's Hannibal Courier Post.  We were discussing historical accuracy in museums earlier this week.  Look what this fellow thought he saw in Hannibal.  If you don't have time to read this in its entirety, just skip to the fourth paragraph.

    Note that the HCP ran this with apparent pride -- good old fashioned "booster journalism" like Joe Ament, Sam, and Orion used to do.  The more things change...
