I wondered whether anyone on the Forum knew much about the genealogy of
Twain's uncle, John Quarles. I'm curious about whether he's related to the
Ralph Quarles family of Louisa County,  Virginia or (further back) to the
Jacobean poet Francis Quarles. Any leads? Many thanks for any suggestions
any of you may have.
