Multi-stakeholder processes are an emerging tool to address large scale
systemic problems. This is a workshop for community developers, health
promoters, and service providers.
Topics to be covered include the Basics of Multi-stakeholder
Organizations, Challenges and Benefits, A Development Framework, Power
and Boundaries, Lateral Leadership and Best Practices.
Joan Roberts has over 20 years of experience designing and facilitating
small and large group processes, and as a social innovator. She holds a
Masters Degree in Organization Development. Her thesis focus was
multi-stakeholder processes. A book is almost complete with the working
title Alliances, Coalitions and Partnerships.
She has co-authored articles in the newly released Collaborative Work
Systems Fieldbook published by the John Wiley and Sons.
