Here's a little information for anyone interested in this subject.
The January 2005 issue of Pain Medicine, the journal of the American Academy of
Pain Medicine, is a special issue addressing the subject of differences and
disparities in pain-related services and management, as well as in pain
experience and reporting.

Also relating to this subject, an event titled "Ethnic differences in Pain: From
Laboratory to Clinical Practice", will be held on Wednesday March 30th 2005 in
Boston. It is a preconference event of the 24th Annual Scientific Meeting of
