I do not think that the CLICK4HP health promotion listserv is the best
place for you to start your very broad study of 'health information system
management'.  Information system management is a completely different
discipline.
As a fellow student, but currently in the Information Studies field, I can
appreciate your need for a variety of resources. However, I urge you to
use your library resources at Laval to begin your research.

For example, a quick search of University of Toronto's library catalogue
(http://www.library.utoronto.ca/gerstein/) indicated that there are a
number of journals, and even an encyclopedia that might meet your need.
You might also look at the Canadian Institute of Health Information
website - http://www.cihi.ca, and the Laval based KUUC
(http://kuuc.chair.ulaval.ca/english/index.php) for more specific health
information systems review.
Consider the Gale Research group's "Encyclopedia of health information
sources" (it could be outdated), the Health Information & Libraries
Journal (British publication), and the now defunct IT Health Care
Strategist: 1999 (Volume 1, Issue 2) - Sep 2002 (Volume 4, Issue 9).

There are also a number of healthcare system management publications. One
is Healthcare information management & communications Canada, out of
Edmonton, and the Canadian Organization for Advancement of Computers in
Health. Look for them, and you may be able to narrow your subject.
