Due to a disk failure, Passport York and all applications which use
Passport York (which include REM, Manage My Services, CEO, GEO,
Roaming access, Class Lists, Graduate Bursary Application System,
YorkNet Registration, Atlas Updater, Action Request System and off
campus access to software available from CNS, etc) experienced an
outage on Friday evening.
Passport York authentication was unavailable between 7:45pm and
10:15pm when a temporary replacement was put in place at which time
Passport York authentication was made available again. Some services
such as Kiosk machine access, Class List, Ereports and Offsite
Software access were not working at this time.
On Saturday at 4:30am the original system was brought back into service
with a replacement hard drive and all services were restored by 4:45am.
