A few weeks ago, I posted a notice about a job opening for a Health
Promotion Information Specialist at the Ontario Prevention Clearinghouse.
I'm mentioning it again because it's a position that's very important to me
(it's replacing me while I go on educational leave), and important to a key
project, the Ontario Health Promotion Email (OHPE) Bulletin. The deadline is
very soon - Monday, July 12 at 5:00 p.m.

The successful applicant will take on my work for an 11 month contract,
working full-time, although there's flexibility on hours a week and
location. The responsibilities include handling requests for health
promotion information and research and synthesizing the information into
useful formats and coordinating the OHPE Bulletin, through a period of
redesign, expansion and online database rebuilding.

Interested? Know the health promotion field well, the practice and theory,
who is doing what, where and how in Ontario's provincial health promotion
and illness prevention system? Can you find that information, summarize
research and trends, and wrap it up for others quickly? Have experience with
working with e-bulletins, websites, online databases, and content
management?
It's a great group of people to work with, and an exciting opportunity.
Check out the full job posting at
http://www.ohpe.ca/ebulletin/Job.cfm?ID=1290 or on OPC's website at
http://www.opc.on.ca/english/about_us/full/jobs_at_opc.htm
(in French at http://www.opc.on.ca/francais/a_propos/full/demploi.htm).

By the way, I will still be working as co-facilitator of the CLICK4HP
listserv while I'm back at university studying information management. Using
the CLICK4HP list request email address will continue to reach me, and Sam
Lanfranco, if you have questions or need help with your subscription. Just
send your message to <[log in to unmask]>.

Sincerely,

Alison
