Settings in Health Promotion
The IUHPE Satellite Program
Hilton Hotel, Brisbane, Qld, 4-5 May, 2004

The Queensland Centre for Public Health is hosting a Satellite Program
following the Melbourne Conference [World Conference on Health Promotion and
Health Education, 26-30 April 2004] that will showcase recent health
promotion initiatives using a settings-based approach, in south-east
Queensland.

This two-day event will provide opportunities for networking between local
practitioners and international conference participants.
It will also showcase Queensland health promotion projects, relating to
health promoting settings and provide opportunities for observation/field
visits to:
* primary, secondary and special schools
* childcare centres
* Indigenous/culturally and linguistically diverse settings.
