In Halton secondary schools we are using a program that has been around for
25 years called STEP Parenting (Systemic Training for Effective Parenting)

The original program was developed for the parents of preschoolers and
undoubtedly addresses the issue of spanking. The all-inclusive program for
0-5 years is $420.00 and the school-age program for 6-12 years is $629.00.

Programs include promotional materials, videos, handouts, evaluation tools
and a training guide. Teen program cost is $629.00.

Each parent needs a $21.00 handbook.With delivery, our cost was $25.00.

We are charging our seven-week Teen STEP parents $30.00 for the workbook and
snacks.
