Colleagues,

The Nutrition Resource Centre at the Ontario Public Health Association is
looking for information about consumer restaurant menu preferences.

We are hoping that you will be able to promote the online version of this
survey and/or distribute the print version of the survey to your clients and
friends. Many health departments and other organizations have already
agreed to post links to the survey on their website and disseminate the
survey through a variety of programs.

The online survey is available at http://www.alderweb.com/eatsmart Copies of
the print survey and suggested wording for web and print promotion of the
survey are available by contacting Karly Holmes of the Alder Group via email
[log in to unmask] or phone 416.932.9452

People who complete the survey between July 5th and July 30th can enter a
draw to win a $50 coupon* redeemable at an Ontario EatSmart! restaurant in
the city of their choice (Ontario only).

The results of the survey will be made available. Contact the Nutrition
Resource Centre http://www.nutritionrc.ca/ in the fall, if you are
interested.

*********************************

Eat Smart! is Ontario’s Healthy Restaurant Program. It is an Award of
Excellence program for restaurants that meet high standards in healthy food
choices, food safety, and non-smoking seating. An Eat Smart! restaurant
gives consumers the choices and the environment to make healthier lifestyle
decisions when they eat out.

This program is managed provincially by the Nutrition Resource Centre at the
Ontario Public Health Association with funding from the Ontario Ministry of
Health and Long Term Care. Eat Smart! also has two provincial partners, the
Canadian Cancer Society (Ontario Division) and the Heart and Stroke
Foundation of Ontario.
