As most users of the York University network already know, a computer
break-in originating from several Internet sites took places 2 weeks
ago. As a precautionary measure, CCIS has blocked access to York from
those Internet sites known to have been involved in this incident.
The list of filtered sites is:

The system administrators at these sites have been advised via e-mail
of these access restrictions. Internet access between these sites and
York will remain blocked until each affected site chooses to verify
that the intruder is no-longer capable of operating there and to
notify us that this verification has take place.
