Advocacy at the Canadian Society for International Health: To all CSIH
members - We greatly appreciate all your support and commitment to CSIH
and to global health issues in 2004. The New Year brings some important
events that will influence both our development and the Canadian foreign
policy agenda to which we ask you to give your serious attention. CSIH
has taken an active role in encouraging a greater emphasis on
development within the International Policy Review. We ask that you
consider writing a letter to your Member of Parliament or the Prime
Minister promoting an increase in Official Development Assistance
funding as this would address the Millenium Development Goals and help
to meet their set targets. Sample letters can be found on our website
(www.csih.org).
