Request for Proposals - Research Synthesis

The Canadian Population Health Initiative (CPHI) is pleased to announce
Request for Proposals (RFP) for research syntheses on the following two
topics:

· How does the urban environment shape healthy transitions to adulthood?

· To what extent do structural or community-level characteristics of urban
environments encourage or inhibit the achievement of healthy weights?

Research syntheses are intended to contribute to CPHI's strategic goal of
knowledge generation and synthesis and are designed to fulfill
decision-makers' need for consolidated and contextualized research
findings.

Proposals must be received at CPHI by Monday, January 17, 2005 at 2:00 PM
EST.  Please submit proposals in MS-Word to <mailto:[log in to unmask]>.

Demande de proposition - Synthèse de recherche

L'Initiative sur la santé de la population canadienne (ISPC) est heureuse
de présenter les deux demandes de proposition (DP) de synthèses de
recherche suivantes :

· Comment le milieu urbain façonne-t-il les transitions saines vers l'âge
adulte?

· Dans quelle mesure les caractéristiques structurelles et communautaires
des milieux urbains favorisent-elles ou entravent-elles l'atteinte d'un
poids santé?

Les synthèses de recherche permettent à l'ISPC d'atteindre son objectif
stratégique de production de connaissances et d'activités de synthèse. De
plus, elles visent à répondre aux besoins des décisionnaires en matière de
résultats de recherche regroupés et mis en contexte.

Vous devez nous faire parvenir votre proposition au plus tard le lundi 17
janvier 2005 à 14 h (HNE) en format MS Word à l'adresse
