NOTIFICATION OF TWO UPCOMING OUTAGES

The first will be an important outage of all Student Information
System (SIS) services, including all student applications, beginning
Friday November 26th at 5:00pm until Monday November 29th at 8:00am
in order to perform an important SIS upgrade.
We anticipate no problems during the weekend upgrade but please be
aware that we may experience delays restoring all services on Monday
morning if we do encounter any problems.  We will advise the community
accordingly at that time.

The second outage will be during the weekend of December 3rd beginning
at 5:00pm, lasting until Monday December 6th at 8:00am.  We are planning
to upgrade the SIS security system, DCE.  This will require that all SIS
modules, systems running from the SAL icon bar only, be unavailable.
The  upgrade will also require that all DCE/SIS accounts have their
passwords changed.  We will be putting in place different methods for
all users to obtain their new DCE/SIS password first thing Monday
morning.  More information will be made available in the near future
on how this will be done.
