Darling, if you have any wits about you - just say thanks, but no thanks sugar!
Good luck!

In my opinion, you should not accept this mandate if you want a successful experience as an intern.

Objet : [SDOH] Looking for info re: expenditures on determinants of health

I am currently an intern at the Canadian Public Health Association. I've
been asked to estimate government expenditures on determinants of health in
Canada and relate these (loosly) to certain health outcomes or indicators.
I was wondering if anyone knew of existing research that has tried to
address this, or if any expenditure data is available in an easily
accessible form (regional/provincial/or national level). Spending on the
traditional lifestyle/behavioral determinants may come from specific public
health program budgets (which is not easy to find since most estimates are
aggregated over all programs). Beyond this, trying to estimate expenditures
on social determinants of health becomes even more difficult, as it becomes
multi-sectoral, and funding comes from various ministries and levels of
government.

Any input or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
