Hi Abi
The person we are searching for will provide guidance in order to develop
our new Program of Chronic Disease Prevention and may have to provide
support in other areas such as Injury prevention, mental health etc..

Some Key activities:
Develops, plans and conducts epidemiological, socioeconomic  and policy
research and analysis related to Chronic Disease in the Canadian Aboriginal
context.
Provides information gathered in research and analysis in the development
and/or evaluation of policy or regulation.
Develops, maintains and exploits a variety of information sources and
databases; monitors and maintains an inventory of policy, legislative and
program initiatives as well as trends in the sectors related to chronic
disease at First Nations and Inuit Health Branch.
Prepares analysis and briefing notes on a variety of issues and initiatives
related to Chronic Disease Prevention or related field.

Bonjour!

We are currently searching for a good  epidemiologist/public health
research
and policy analyst for the Chronic Disease Prevention Division of First
Nations and Inuits Health Branch at Health Canada in Ottawa

We need someone for a short term period while we  run a formal competition
(ES-04). Please let me know as soon as possible if you know someone or a
place where I can find someone available.
