Can You Affect the Effects of Menopause?
CHANGE FOR THE BETTER
TWO SYMPOSIA ON MENOPAUSE-RELATED HEALTH ISSUES
May 4 and June 29, 1999
Menopause doesn't have to be your biological clock's darkest hour. These
exciting and interactive symposia are aimed at putting time on your side by
informing you of the role you can play in ensuring that menopause doesn't
disrupt your life or lifestyle.
During and after Menopause, women are at much greater risk of developing
heart disease and bone health problems such as Osteoporosis. Fortunately,
there are many natural ways of preventing these problems form occurring.
Unfortunately, few women become aware of them in time, and that's one of the
things that we know we can change.
Each evening will consist of a number of inspiring and informative
presentations by renowned health care professionals.
This event will link 5 communities using BC TEL's UBIQUITY(TM) Premium
Video-Conferencing service. Presented by the B.C.'s Women's Hospital &
Health Centre, part of Children's & Women's Health Centre of British
Columbia. For more information call 1-888-823-9992 or watch it live on the
Web at www.bc.wh.synrgy.bc.ca
