To List Serve Members:
The Atlantic Health Sciences Corporation (AHSC), the largest
multi-facility regional health authority in New Brunswick invites
applications for the position of 'Population Health Researcher'.
This is largely a research position with minimal administrative
responsibilities. Candidates must have a PhD in the health or social
sciences and apply a population health approach in their research
activities. Team building with our research partners and research
mentoring within AHSC are important components of this position. This
is a new postion that affords candidates both researcher driven and
institutional driven research opportunities.
Health Research Partnerships have recently been instituted with AHSC
and the University of New Brunswick, National Research Council e-Health,
and the New Brunswick Community College through a memorandum of
understanding that has led to the formation of substantive collaborative
research efforts. AHSC and their research partners have championed the
creation of an annual Health Promotion and Research Fund, an inaugural
Health Research Colloquium Series and more recently, a Research
Endowment Fund of the Board RHA2.
