I thought others on the CANCHID list might come up with ideas for this

Subject: PROCOR: 11/16/99: Volunteering Expertise in
[Moderator comment: Please respond directly to Kunchok's email address. SJ]
I am an experienced Software Developer and Systems Administrator (for 14
years). My passion is for Unix systems (especially Linux) and the Internet.
I'll be moving to India in December for one year (or more) of travel and
study. Perhaps you know of projects that could use a geeky volunteer :-)
I would like to make use of my experience to do something positive for the
people in India and other developing countries but I'm not sure how to
start. I would be happy to volunteer on health projects that need
assistance in my field of expertise.
I would be very grateful for any advice.
Yours Sincerely,
Kunchok Tensing
