Dear CANCHID Subscribers,

As Christmas vacation approaches more and more of you will be away from
you email inbox. Many of you will be tempted to set auto-reply "vacation
messages" in your email client. There _IS_ a better alternative!

Our listserv software is pretty good and weeds out most of the auto-reply
"on vacation" or "out of office" messages that bounce back when you are
away. It does not catch all of them however, much to the displeasure of
your colleagues on this list. What you can do instead - and keep these
instructions - is:

send email to: [log in to unmask]

with two lines in the body of the text saying:

set canchid nomail
end

That will turn off your subscription -for now-.

When you return send email again to: [log in to unmask]

with two lines in the body of the text saying

set canchid mail
end

And you are again an active subscriber.

Try it, your colleagues will like it.

Sam Lanfranco, CANCHID ListMgt/Host
