Health Promotion Position with Education Queensland, Australia -

Dear List Members

Education Queensland is currently seeking a Health Promotion professional
(A08 - approximate salary $77 000 p.a.) to work as part of the department's
Organisational Health Unit.

In summary, the selection criteria are:

1.Organisational Health: Thorough contemporary knowledge of organisational
health (health promotion, occupational health and safety, occupational
rehabilitation and employee assistance) and proven ability to apply such
knowledge in the design of major organisational training and health
promotion initiatives that enhance workforce capability in a large and
complex organisation.
2.Analytical Expertise: Well developed conceptual, analytical, research and
problem solving skills that have been successfully applied to develop
innovative practice within a training and health promotion framework.
3.Project Management: High level project management skills and the ability
to lead and contribute to large and small project teams to achieve
successful outcomes with allocated resources, particularly related to
training initiatives.
4.People and Partnerships: High level negotiation, consultation,
communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills within a large
organisation.
5.Organisational Awareness: Proven ability to acquire and apply knowledge of
relevant legislation, departmental policies and strategies relevant to the
training of organisational health and promotion of health and wellbeing.
